Looking back, neither Hamza nor I chose the “wrong” platform.
We simply chose different paths.
Fiverr helped me understand how to attract buyers.
Upwork helped Hamza learn how to win projects through proposals.
Both experiences were valuable.
If you are just starting your freelancing journey, do not spend too much time searching for the perfect platform.
Choose one, build your skills, stay consistent, and focus on delivering quality work.
In the long run, professionalism and persistence matter far more than whether you start on Fiverr or Upwork.
